Khusrau Mirza & Sikh Guru Arjandevji

Very few of the Mugahal princes were able to ascend the throne of Mughal empire , took honorific ally the name of king, emperor where rest were murdered or maimed & ultimately met most gory of deaths .It was not like 'Hire Apparent' or 'Hire Presumptive' practised in House of Stuarts or Hanover of British Empire . In Mughal Empire only up to Akbar , more or less tradition was followed & after him from 1605 to 1857 most gruesome  murder after conspiracy , perfidy & what not was employed to attain the throne which lowers our head with shame .& avoid it for any narration. Then, why I singled Khusrau Mirza for my narrative . First the Ulma & Persian spectre got its ascendancy over Rajput subservient  warrior ship  in Mughal court & empire & most important factor was long distaste & animus of Sikhs for Mughals for centuries .. This was manifested in 1857 when Hindu, Muslim & everybody who can wield arms came for the rescue of Bahadursah Zafar ,last king of Mughal Empire , but Sikhs never came for defending Lal Qila albeit British were saving their hegemony over India, clinging like a leach to Hindurao outpost on the 'ridge' of Delhi . A simple armed push to them ,might have dislodged them from 'Ridge' & different narrative might have been there to give the account of history . But such was the distrust in the form of gangrene  between Sikhs & Mughals, which never allowed them to come under one banner .

                                                 Saga of Khusrau Mirza from 1606 was harbinger of the animus .between them .Simple act of help by Guru Arjandevji & his execution by Jehangir , his  heinous torture before the eyes of Sikh Kaum is unforgettable .
